Best Cars To Lease

When it comes to finding a lease deal that is right for you, everyone is different and everybody has their own thoughts on what makes an offer appealing. Motorists have varying needs when it comes to a vehicle, but naturally there are some cars that make a better general appeal than others for a contract hire agreement.

So what actually makes a good lease deal? Essentially what you are looking for, apart from a vehicle which does everything that you need it to do, is reasonable monthly payments, a small up-front deposit and a term of 36 months or less.

Some of the best cars currently available to lease are:

Hyundai i10

For a number of years the i10 has been one of the most successful and critically acclaimed city cars in the UK. Offering sound performance and handling, the model’s best asset is the level of cabin space it provides when compared to rivals. In terms of leasing, deals are available for as little as £109 per month over 24 months – in many ways it makes more sense than buying a used Hyundai i10. Because the payments are so affordable the initial deposit will usually be at least £2,000.

Peugeot 108

One of the Hyundai i10s main rivals in the city car market, the Peugeot 108, is also one of the most appealing when it comes to leasing agreements. Monthly payments usually fall between £140 and £170 with a deposit of just over £2,000. There is some excellent equipment on offer with the 108 but should you wish to keep it at the end of your contract there will be a greater final payment than with the i10.

Honda Jazz

There is little argument to be made against the fact that the Honda Jazz is not exactly the most stylish vehicle on the market. However, what the Jazz lacks in aesthetics it most certainly makes up for in practicality. From the exterior it looks rather compact, but on entering the cabin it is impossible not to be overwhelmed by the amount of room. Honda Jazz lease deals usually cost less than £200 a month but there may be an initial payment of £3,000 or £4,000.

Kia Sportage

The three aforementioned models are all classed as compact ones, so for anyone looking for a larger vehicle you will be hard pushed to find a more attractive proposition than the Kia Sportage. It has plenty of cabin space and delivers sound performance on the road. If you down an initial deposit of £4,000 or more you will be looking at monthly payments of around £220.
